An Introduction to the Pioneers of Trading Hunts

Welcome to Trading Hunts and thank you for choosing us! Our goal is to live up to all your expectations, and if we do fall short, be available to find a solution. There is a dedicated team of individuals behind the scenes working nonstop to bring you the very best we have to offer and striving to continuously improve and expand our network. This post is designed to introduce you to a few of those people and gain an idea of why we're all here.

At the top of our food chain sits Jd and his lovely wife Rosalinde. They have been together more years than most people can stand to look at another person, and in that time have accomplished many goals. The idea of Trading Hunts came to them as a thought nearly a decade ago and has united that pair with the rest of us over time. These two are outstanding protectors of our Second Amendment, experienced hunters, seasoned travelers, and fully invested into making this website your go-to place in the ways of hunting and fishing.

In a time when so many across the country felt our rights could be at stake, Jd, Rosalinde, and a group of friends created and maintained two separate social media groups to unite gun-toting Americans across our local area, and the nation. A few of which have made the journey with them to this next great adventure.

First up is Lloyd, without this guy none of this would be possible. He's been involved from the beginning and is the reason our site flows as smoothly as it does. Our modern-day Davie Crocket was born several fortnights ago on the day of the Indy 500 and has raced alongside Jd and Rosalinde to get this site moving. Lloyd prefers a life filled with fresh grown vegetables, surrounded by nature, away from civilization and chaos. While he may identify himself as "Techno Challenged", the rest of us here know it's Lloyd we rely on to keep us afloat, and we are ever thankful for his dedication and hard work.

There is Mark, a devoted Constitutionalist and all-around great guy. He is so well traveled that you can't possibly keep tabs on where he is talking to you from, but you can guarantee that conversation is going to be interesting, and you might accidentally learn something. This man's mind is loaded to the brim with factual information, and great stories to keep you engaged. Together with his wife Michelle, he has raised 4 children and they're currently enjoying their best life as grandparents.

Then along came Wade, our raging Cajun. Located in the heart of Gatorville, USA, Wade is known as our Master Baiter. His art of fishing, and recipes of equal excellence have been tried and perfected over many years. While appearing mysterious at times, it's quite obvious that crazy critter has a deep admiration for seemingly useless junk he can restore into quality pieces, which is exactly how we have remained friends over a great period of time. Here's to hoping he's willing to share some great recipes in the "Fire Pit", and some swampy tales on his adventures throughout the years.

Lastly, myself. Anchor is a name that was given to me many moons ago by Jd himself and has just stayed with me over time. Jd was learning to ride horseback from my dad before I was ever a thought in his mind. He knows where I come from, the morals and standards I was taught, and the twisted humor I possess. That is why I've been brought along on these journeys. I was brought on board for this particular adventure because of a natural ability to speak in a way that encourages and engages others.

That is a small glance at the admins of this site. Over time there will be opportunities for all of us to get to know each other better, and to build genuine friendships. It's how the site was designed. Not only do you have access to new and exciting places to hunt and fish, but you also have the opportunity to connect with those doing the same all across the states. Use this site to its full potential, sharing your favorite recipes, stories of your adventures young and old, open discussions of which gear works best for you, and you will find it giving back to you in ways you hadn't expected.

Happy Hunting!
