Where do you go?

In a world where your boss can reach you anytime with the click of a button, where there is seemingly no escape from the dings of social media platforms and nonstop conversations, where do you go to disappear? Where do you vanish in a life where businesses operate 24/7 and people never appear to rest? In these days of instant gratification, are you able to step away and leave it behind to remind yourself that you deserve tranquility and peace?
Being here to create these articles is a wonderful opportunity to bring the minds of such a variety of people together and help others find their solitude. Not all of us are from an era existed prior to the chains of technology. To some it has always been a way of life. Others are at an age now that we set back, watching our kids take selfies with their spaghetti, and remember chats with our elders about the good old days. A time when life was simple. No one ever mentions before technology you could call your grandma to tell her about your week, and by the weekend it was typed out neatly in black and white for all to read in the local newspaper. God bless those devoted women manning the party lines of their day.
I'm not saying technology is all bad or
not appreciated. There are countless ways it benefits everyone, including sportsmen. Some of the fish finding apps are quite intriguing, and the advancement in hunting gear has surpassed anything I could have imagined 20 years ago. Even with everything this new lifestyle has to offer, sometimes the mind just needs a break, a chance to work on its own, and to just exist. How do you spend that time? What do you do to reset yourself?
Do you shut off your phone and walk down to the creek to watch the water trickle though the rocks while the minnows nibble at your toes? Toss a line into the river hoping to catch some flat head and maybe a glimpse of a soaring eagle? Escape to the garage and clean out the carburetor on that old pick up of your dad's? Do you garden? Read? I'd love to hear what you do when the technology gets to be too much, and maybe you can inspire some from this generation to find their way to some simply mellow days as well.

I just finished reading all of them and really enjoyed them all
You go girl.. Awesome read!
